LAGS VIRTUAL CERTIFICATION

To all Baristas / Examiners / Lags Certification Point

We are going through a moment of great international difficulty because of COVID19.

The LAGS headquarters is precisely in one of the territorial epicentres where this epidemic has forced companies to close and rightly people to stay home for the good of all.

The Lags at this moment, through the online system, - to give an optimism sign - is active for those who want and has the opportunity to take LAGS examinations.

There’s the opportunity – until April 30, 2020 - of sending the video of the exam to the Lags headquarters and to the examiner / Lags certification point, which must have the following features:

• display the image of the barista doing the patterns
• the execution of the patterns including the production of the espresso and the milk whipping
• the final shot of the patterns from above with the cups aligned

Therefore, the examiners can view the video and draw up the paper exam sheet or use the designated App. Everything has then to be sent to the system via email (only via WeTransfer - or keep the video available for any "evidence").

Lags will send the certifications via email within 10 days (except for management difficulties) - while for the LAGS "jug/s" if you don’t have it/them available, they will be sent as soon as the emergency situation has resolved.

Ps: please don’t send videos to the System directly by email (possibly only with WeTransfer).

For eventual renewals of examiner fees it is possible proceeding as usual or by contacting the system via email.
