Guayaquil welcomed the first-ever edition of THE LAGS BATTLE Ecuador, bringing together talent, creativity, and passion for latte art.

The LAGS Ecuador National Championship took place at Bombons Coffee Shop, the official host venue for this special first edition of THE LAGS BATTLE in Ecuador.

Twelve talented competitors came together for an exciting day of competition, putting their precision, creativity, technique, and passion to the test in front of Ecuador’s growing coffee community.

The championship was judged by Johann Buenaño, Eli Romero, and Martino Cueva, whose professionalism, patience, and commitment helped ensure a fair and successful competition.

A special thank you goes to the entire Bombons Coffee Shop team for their outstanding support throughout the event, as well as to the sponsors and members of Ecuador’s coffee community who helped make this first edition possible.

Ecuador has its champions 🏆

After several demanding rounds, Elena Tepan was crowned Ecuador’s Green Jug Champion, earning the opportunity to represent her country at the LAGS World Championship in Gijón, Spain.

Byron Palomeque also received special recognition and will represent Ecuador in the Red Jug category at the World Championship.

Their journey now continues from Guayaquil to the international LAGS stage in Spain.

More than a competition

Behind every pour and every design were hours of practice, concentration, dedication, and passion.

This first edition of THE LAGS BATTLE in Ecuador was not only about finding the country’s champions. It was also a celebration of a latte art community that continues to grow, connect, and raise its level.
