On May 31st, the Hotel Abba Playa Gijón hosted a new edition of the Spanish Latte Art Grading Championship, establishing Spain as a growing reference in the international latte art scene. The event was a tremendous success in terms of participation and attendance, with over 200 visitors throughout the day and a vibrant, professional, and passionate atmosphere for specialty coffee.

PODIUM

⚫ 1st PLACE BLACK LEVEL: Miller Acuña
🔴 1st PLACE RED LEVEL: Luis Ángel González
🟢 1st PLACE GREEN LEVEL: Jorge Barcos

The three winners of each level (Acuña, González, and Barcos) officially qualified for the LAGS World Final, which will take place at Host Milano on October 20, 2025!

Participation and Audience

  • 20 participants from various regions of Spain.
  • Over 200 visitors throughout the day.
  • Dedicated tasting zones, sponsor exhibition areas, and professional networking spaces.
  • All competitors received gifts from sponsors, while the winners secured significant prizes, including a trip to Milan to represent Spain in the international final.
