Energy, Talent, and a Winning Trio of Women
Naples, April 10, 2026 – The Vortex Arena in Naples hosted an outstanding edition of the The LAGS Battle, a high-level competition dedicated to Latte Art and the Latte Art Grading System (LAGS). The event took place at the prestigious Kimbo Training Center, bringing together professionals, enthusiasts, and emerging talents for an intense day of competition, creativity, and innovation in the world of coffee.
The competition showcased high technical skills and artistic expression, once again confirming the growing international relevance of the LAGS system as a benchmark for evaluating and developing Latte Art performance.
The most remarkable moment of the day was an extraordinary result: an all-female podium, highlighting both excellence and the increasing presence of women in the specialty coffee scene.

🔴 RED Level: Lorenza Di Stefano
🟢 GREEN Level: Rosa Bruno
Their performances stood out for precision, creativity, and consistency, fully embodying the standards and philosophy of the Latte Art Grading System.
In addition to the main competition, the event introduced an important new feature: the first White and Orange Level Throwdown, designed to engage and promote new talents entering the LAGS pathway. This initiative represents a significant step toward expanding the community and creating new opportunities for emerging baristas to approach competitive Latte Art in a structured and inclusive way.

Further enhancing the prestige of the day was the presence of Kimbo President, Dr. Mario Rubino, who took part in the award ceremony, emphasizing the importance of training and innovation in the coffee sector.
The success of The LAGS Battle Naples further strengthens the city’s role as a key reference point for coffee culture and innovation, as well as a strategic hub for the development of Latte Art at both national and international levels.
The next stop will take place in Verona on May 15, 2026: registrations will open soon, and all details will be shared on Wednesday.
