The Spanish Latte Art Grading Championship took place during Coffee Expo Costa del Sol, confirming itself as one of the most important meeting points for coffee and latte art professionals at a national level.
The competition brought together 24 participants from different parts of Spain, who showcased their technique, precision, and creativity throughout the day in front of both the judges and the attending audience.
At the same time, the Spanish LAGS Plant-Based Championship was also held, a category that continues to gain importance within the industry. The competition featured 16 baristas, highlighting the growing role of plant-based beverages in professional coffee competitions.
The championship was streamed live throughout the entire day, allowing coffee enthusiasts, professionals, and followers of the Latte Art Grading System to watch all the rounds live. The event started at 10:00 a.m. and continued until 7:30 p.m., creating an intense and engaging atmosphere with a strong audience presence throughout the day.
Hosting the championship within Coffee Expo Costa del Sol helped increase the visibility of the event, bringing the LAGS system closer to a professional audience and strengthening its position as one of the leading competitions in the national coffee scene.
